Inspired by autism and firmly believing that social inclusion is a fundamental part of the full development of all human beings, 10 years of perseverance and keen observation while working with children and their families around the world led me to create this beautiful book, with the aim of helping more young people and their families.

Autism is a spectrum with a diversity of people and conditions. Understanding its plurality is complex; there is no single perspective—perhaps there are as many as there are individuals. But through this book, written in a simple and direct way with the support of a great team, I aim to capture many of the situations and feelings that individuals with autism and their families experience daily. The way these sensations, situations, and emotions are explained can help us better understand autism. At the same time, it offers a compilation of very valuable information about autism, soccer as a tool for improvement, and recommendations for parents and families of children with this condition.

With a unique perspective, I have put myself in the shoes of every parent and understand the importance of their role. Therefore, I hope this book will be very useful to you, and if in the end I have managed to help even one family, I will feel fulfilled and my work will have achieved its purpose.
