Transform lives through the power of sport.
Transform lives through the power of sport.
Originally from Uruguay and currently based in the United States, founder Oscar Amuz is a renowned international speaker on autism. Autism Soccer offers person-centered soccer lessons to foster inclusion and community for individuals on the autism spectrum while helping them reach their full potential. At Autism Soccer, we provide individual or group soccer training that improves symptoms associated with children with ASD and intellectual disabilities.
Our comprehensive approach uses integrated, isolated, and complementary training designed to improve brain function by interpreting and processing tactical, visual, and auditory signals while interacting with the environment.
Since its creation in 2012, the Autism Soccer Foundation has experienced remarkable growth, expanding to six countries to provide personalized soccer training for children with autism.
By 2023, the organization has served more than 25,000 children. Our franchise mission is to promote social inclusion for both children and adults with ASD by teaching soccer skills in a supportive environment.
Globally, it is estimated that 1 in every 100 people is on the autism spectrum. In the United States, these figures are even higher: 1 in every 36 children is diagnosed with autism. This situation creates a high demand for autism-related services in the behavioral health industry, often exceeding the available supply of providers. Autism Soccer helps bridge this gap by promoting inclusion for children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) through teaching soccer skills in an environment of support, understanding, and care. Here are five reasons why Autism Soccer offers an attractive franchise opportunity:
By providing a pathway for growth and inclusion, an Autism Soccer franchise creates a positive impact on clients, families, and the broader community.
Our comprehensive approach uses individual or group soccer training that improves symptoms associated with ASD and intellectual disabilities. Through soccer, we enhance brain function, interpretation, and processing.
The Autism Soccer franchise model does not require a dedicated facility and can operate within existing venues such as gyms, recreation centers, or local schools, allowing flexibility.
The Autism Soccer business model operates simply with minimal staff and is scalable in any market.
Autism Soccer is unique in the behavioral health industry with little direct competition, providing franchisees with a competitive advantage.
We are a community with a soccer franchise for individuals with autism!
Since Autism Soccer is an organization dedicated to transforming the lives of individuals on the autism spectrum, the most important qualities we seek in franchise partners are integrity and compassion. While not required, the ideal franchisee should have some knowledge and/or experience in soccer, as well as the ability to work with children. Above all, potential franchisees must prioritize the health and well-being of the individuals under their care.
